Penguins

What Is It Like To Be A Penguin?

Our Penguins class is specifically designed to foster development for children between the ages of 3 and 4. The curriculum balances pre-literacy and math skills with social and self-help development, all provided within a nurturing and supportive environment.

The Penguins' classroom offers a mix of organized small group instruction, individual guidance, and child-directed discovery. Students engage in various activities including block building, role-playing, art, and calendar concepts. These experiences are designed to enhance fine motor skills and conceptual understanding.

Each week, children participate in hands-on play, stories, songs, and art projects related to a specific theme. This approach ensures a healthy balance of teacher-led activities and independent play.

Parrots

What Is It Like To Be A Parrot?

Our Parrots class is a PreK program specifically designed to prepare children for kindergarten by integrating pre-literacy academic skills—such as alphabet recognition, counting, sorting, shapes, and colors—into a thematic curriculum.

Children participate in hands-on play, stories, songs, art projects, and large motor games tailored to each weekly theme. We foster a sense of community through classroom jobs, Show & Tell, and storytelling opportunities. The classroom is organized into various centers for small group and individual instruction, including art, building, reading, writing, and math. These centers offer both teacher-guided and child-driven hands-on activities.

By following a child-centered and play-based curriculum, our PreK class focuses on essential kindergarten readiness skills, specifically social development, pre-literacy, and math concepts.
